Unfailingly admired by travellers from around the world, Changi Airport Terminal 2 underwent a major renovation 15 years after it first opened. The dynamic and open interior designed around a plant motif teeming with tropical plants and a newly built skylight transforms it into a modern, pleasant space filled with abundant sunlight. Light in the departure lobby changing hour-by-hour in-sync with the various functions of an airport that operates around – the clock dramatically reverses the day – and nighttime light environment and heightens the anticipation of travel.
