This iconic pedestrian bridge is a vital connector that overlooks a busy expressway and an adjacent forest. It connects to a tree top canopy walk in one of the greenest parts of Singapore. Its folded leaf shape is echoed by the lighting scheme, by using indirect washes of light and color.
As day turns to night, the lighting operation is a series of carefully calibrated and smooth color transitions that gradually blend colored light over 20 minute intervals. The colors are very selective, that move from a warm white to sunset orange and thereafter to a deep mid-night blue.
