Night Safari Amphitheatre 2022

Located within the Singapore Night Safari, the new amphitheater is replacing the existing amphitheater with a bigger capacity of 1000 seats. The architect designed the main roof using a membrane structure. Aiming to minimize the vertical obstruction, most of the lighting is integrated to the seating and steps, providing an indirect lighting effect to the space. A play of light and shadow with a low illuminance level is designed for the walkway canopy to enhance the Night Safari experience while introducing the moonlight effect to the landscape areas.
