Shenyang was once well known as center of heavy industries, but now trying to transform into a commercial city. This multi complex project is located at the central area of the city. The design reflects the history of the Shenyang by using iron and brick materials in the facade and interior spaces, a honorable homage to the once-industrial city. An architectural glass box shines like a lantern and a subdued lighting design with lower color temperature and brightness emphasises the architectural and interior materials creating a nostalgic atmosphere.
