This hotel marks Capella Hotel Group’s first property in Japan, situated with a view of Osaka Castle and set against the backdrop of central Osaka. The lighting design concept aims to reflect the local culture in a highly aesthetic design, while expressing the unique charm of the hotel itself. The combination of meticulously eliminating glare and indirect lighting that yields soft gradations of light, accentuates materials and textures, creating defining layers of light and shadow in the space. Detail-oriented programmed lighting accommodates the diverse operations of this luxury hotel and offers guests a dramatic experience as the lighting changes throughout the day.
