Airside Opens Feb . 22 . 2024

The Airside Project, which we have been involved in since 2018, finally opened on September 28th after 6 years. LPA joined the project team as lighting designer for the façade, interior and landscape areas. 

The architectural design concept is done by Snohetta, an architectural design firm based in Oslo, Norway. As the project has become the tallest building in the rapidly developing Kai Tak Development Area, the facade lighting contributes to the ever-evolving skyline of the Kai Tak Development Area and create an iconic landmark within the city. In the office lobby, a huge chandelier sculpture that stretches from the first floor to the second floor welcomes people. In addition, the color temperature of the chandelier changes depending on the time of day, giving people a sense of time.
