Ishikawa Prefectural Library Open Jul . 27 . 2022

The new Ishikawa Prefectural Library opened its doors on July 16, 2022.

Compared to the old library, the richness of the new up graded version can not be measured in just dimensions. The amphitheater-style design includes open bookshelves which enclose a centrally located circular-shaped browsing area. A substantial increase in the number of cozy reading corners spread throughout the browsing area, also creates a very exciting library experience in the new building. Ambient light highlights main architectural features, with necessary functional lighting arranged throughout the open bookshelves and browsing area.

We were dedicated to creating a lighting balance that extracts the ultimate architectural charm of the building.
