Satomi is an associate at LPA Tokyo office. While studying architecture at the university, she got interested in the lighting environment, particularly how daylight is incorporated into buildings. This led her to start her career in lighting design at LPA in 2000.  After working at other lighting design firms, she too time off to focus on her family, then rejoined LPA in 2019. Leveraging the flexibility gained from various roles, she now handles diverse projects. She holds a master’s degree in Architecture from Tokyo University of Science. Notable projects include Academyhills, Louis Vuitton Ginza Namiki Cafe, Centara Grand Hotel Osaka, Kusatsu Onsen Jizo Square, Onsenmon Gate, BLUE FRONT SHIBAURA, and Bizen City Museum.
