This is one of China’s leading convention centers. The architecture is shaped like Kunpeng, a mythical creature spreading its wings, embodying a sense of lightness while conveying dignity and familiarity. The design also symbolizes hope and peace for the future. The interior design is rooted in the concept of “Harmonious coexistence and the unity between humanity and nature.” The design skillfully integrates sequences of light, materials, and space to create a ceremonial conference environment conveying the memory of civilization. A modest and simple approach produces this distinctive lighting environment, while also emphasizing energy efficiency and low-carbon performance.
