On July 12, 2025, the Bizen City Museum of Art opened its doors. The museum showcases contemporary ceramic art, with a focus on Bizen ware.

The subtle lighting of the pillars and the discreet placement of the light fixtures accentuate the architectural beauty of the glass-covered entrance hall. To properly illuminate the unglazed Bizen ware, the lighting system is designed to be adjustable from 2400K to 4000K using a color temperature conversion filter, allowing for a low color temperature that complements the ceramics.
