The new museum combines the colonial-style Old Building and the glass architecture of the New Building, which also partially encloses a section of the Old Building. This experiment in preserving old architecture while adding something new to the cityscape embodies the character of a museum. We decided to highlight the contrast between the old and new fa\u00e7ades with layered light.
